Fall Morning Glories

350.00

These pieces are done on 18 x 24,  140lb. coldpress watercolor paper with ink, acrylic paint and colored pencil.

There is a vine of morning glories that has been slowly crawling up a telephone pole down the street from me. I was intrigued by how fast it grew and the layers of leaves that seemed to stack on top of each other. I wanted to capture this in a series that also seemed to "crawl up". I used a wash of ink in these pieces- to create movement- and then added the leaves on top in pencil and paint. These pieces could go by themselves or in a grouping.

Since these pieces are more neutral, they would go well with many colors and areas in a home. They would go great in a dining room, along a hallway or in an office.
